Pa. man accused of crashing car with 2 inside

BEAVERDALE, Pa. (AP) -- An eastern Pennsylvania man is facing multiple charges after authorities allege he intentionally crashed his car with his ex-wife and 7-year-old son inside.
The News-Item said 34-year-old Preetinder Singh Dhindsa Mount Carmel was being held in Northumberland County prison on $20,000 cash bail.
Police said Dhindsa was fighting with his ex-wife outside her home before a neighbor complained. Dhinsa's ex-wife said she and her son got into her former husband's car.
Manjit Dhindsa said her ex-husband began speeding and yelled that he was going to kill them all before driving into a large monument at the entrance to a cemetery.
Preetinder Dhindsa is charged with unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, simple assault, child endangerment and drunken driving.
His preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday.
