Fire kills three children

A fire early Friday morning at this home along South Smith Road in Rush Township claimed the lives of three children 13-year-old Daniel Gage Dissinger, 7-year-old Gavin Arthur Dissinger, and 2-year-old Arthur Dissinger. Southside Fire Chief Clifford Kriner said the fire at 60 South Smith Road had fully engulfed the house by the time firefighters arrived at 1:20 a.m. (Press Enterprise/Keith Haupt)
