I-80 shut down between Danville and Buckhorn

BUCKHORN – Emergency responders have shut down Interstate 80 in both directions between the Danville and Buckhorn interchanges, due to a propane truck rollover near here.

Westbound traffic will be detoured using Route 42, Route 11, and Route 54. Eastbound traffic will be detoured using Route 54, Route 11, Route 42, PennDOT states.

Additionally, Columbia Hill Road — which has a bridge that crosses Interstate 80 in the area of the wreck — has been shut down from Frosty Valley Road to Trump Road, PennDOT states.

 
Motorists should be alert, expect major delays in travel, and drive with caution.
