NANTICOKE - A threat received via computer closed Luzerne County Community College at 9:30 a.m., according to a press release from the campus. The announcement asked "staff and students ... to vacate campus in an orderly fashion as soon as possible." That closure extended to all LCCC sites, including its classrooms in Berwick's Eagles building, according to a post on the college's Twitter account. LCCC security contacted Nanticoke, county and state law enforcement, as well as the FBI, the college stated. Officers are now at the college conducting an investigation. Check back for more.
