Loaded gun left on car slides off as it drives away downtown

BLOOMSBURG -- Somebody left a loaded handgun on the roof of a car and drove off Friday afternoon, police say. The gun is believed to have fallen off the vehicle as the driver left the 100 block of Jefferson Street about 12:30 p.m., according to Officer Jim Cromley. The incident was reported an hour later. The gun is a .357-caliber Glock model 32 with about 11 rounds of ammunition in the magazine. It was in a black leather holster. Anyone with information is asked to call Bloomsburg Police at 570-784-6779.
