No fire at Bloomsburg Middle School

BLOOMSBURG — The middle school here was evacuated before 8 a.m. due to a report of smoke in the boiler room.

Town fire volunteers traced the smoke to a transformer. They reported "no active fire," and called for a thermal camera.

Fire units were returning to their quarters by 8:10 a.m.
