10:49 A.M. UPDATE: Police report that Doris Zeisloft has been located, on the New Jersey Turnpike. Hemlock Township Police Chief Mike VanDine said a New Jersey state trooper was with her disabled car when he received the missing person alert from Hemlock Township moments after it was entered. "Modern technology is amazing," VanDine said. Family members are on their way to retrieve Zeisloft, he said.
MILLVILLE — A 79-year-old borough woman went missing Monday night during flooding, and now police are looking for her.
Doris Zeisloft of Millville left her home on South Center Street around 6 p.m., headed for South Centre Township — between Bloomsburg and Berwick — to pick up her son.
But she never arrived.
She is operating a 2008 Dodge Avenger, red or maroon in color, bearing PA registration EBT0413.
Zeisloft suffers from the onset of dementia and may have gotten confused while en route when she encountered detours due to the flooded roadways.
