BLOOMSBURG -- Town police are looking for two men who robbed a person of cash, a cell phone and a book bag at knifepoint Wednesday night, police and university officials say. Police said two black men wearing "dark hooded jackets or sweatshirts" brandished a large kitchen knife and then robbed him of a small amount of cash and other personal items around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Honeysuckle Lane and Country Club Drive, which is located less than a tenth of a mile from the entrance to the Honeysuckle Student Apartments. The victim, whose gender police did not release, was not injured, and didn't report the incident until more than a half hour after the reported robbery, police said. Bloomsburg University issued a campus alert on the robbery, and stated that the robbers were "described as having medium build" and roughly 6-feet-2-inches and 5-feet-9-inches in height. Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call Sgt. Leonard Rogutski at 570-784-4155, ext. 169.
