RCV-Snyder County to replay game at 7:30

Last updated: July 7, 2017 - 5:13pm

BLOOMSBURG — Two Little League all-star teams whose Wednesday game ended in a controversial umpire call – followed by accusations of name-calling and animosity – will replay the game tonight at 7:30 p.m. here.

But it's not because of the call. Instead, Little League said three players on the Roaring Creek Valley team weren't eligible to play on an all-star team because they hadn't played enough regular season games.

So tonight, the team from southern Columbia County will face Snyder County's team without those three players. The winner of tonight's game will play South Columbia on Saturday.
