Route 54 closed at site of fatal accident

MAYBERRY TWP. — Route 54 between Riverside and Elysburg has been shut down as State Police investigate a fatal accident between an SUV and a car.

It appeared the Mazda SUV had struck the passenger side of a Chevrolet Cavalier in the wreck, which happened just before 5:30 p.m.
