The forecast of a large snowstorm Thursday had school districts across the area announcing their shutdown plans a day in advance.

As of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, the following districts had all closed, according to wnep.com:

• Benton Area
• Berwick Area
• Bloomsburg Area
• Central Columbia
• Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech
• Danville Area
• Millville Area
• Mount Carmel Area
• Northwest Area
• Southern Columbia

In addition, Warrior Run had called for a two-hour delay.
