CATAWISSA TWP. – A furniture delivery truck got hung up on a guardrail near the entrance to Wonderview on Thursday afternoon, shutting down traffic into and out of the housing development, and closing a stretch of Mainville Drive from Route 487 to the development.

The hung-up truck kept school children from getting from their bus to their homes, and it kept a line of 14 cars waiting on Mainville Drive as wreckers tried to pry the truck loose.

The truck was freed and the road reopened by 4:45 p.m.

We have a reporter and photographer at the scene and will have more details as they come in.
