INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be received by: Orange Township of Columbia County, PA, at 2028 State Route 487 Orangeville, PA 17859 until 12:00 PM, on April 3, 2025 to be opened on April 3, 2025 at 12:00PM and awarded at 6:30 PM Supervisors Meeting at 2028 State Route 487 Orangeville, PA 17859 For the following: Oman Road Project Contract: Perform approximately: Furnish and place approx. 980 Ton of Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA), approx. 940 Ton of Fill-Shale, approx. 320 ton of 2RC, approx. 50 lb of grass seed, and install 6 headwalls. Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at project location (Bowmans Mill Road/Oman Road intersection) on March 27, 2025 at 9:00 am. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contracts is required of all bidders. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 Applies to project. *Please note there is a drop box on front of Orange Township building to place bid proposals in.
