BLOOMSBURG — A tearful man suspected of breaking into multiple vehicles here asked a public defender Wednesday for help with a drug habit that he blames for his “stupid” actions in recent weeks.

Already facing charges from his arrest in Bloomsburg, Nathan Michael Slusser, 24, who resides in a Berwick trailer court at 230 W. 17th St., had more charges piled on him this week in smash-and-grab crimes in Hemlock and Briar Creek townships.
