Fire levels Millville-area house
PINE TWP. — A couple barely escaped their burning home here before dawn Friday morning, then watched helplessly, unable to call 9-1-1 as fire destroyed almost everything they owned.
There was no time to grab their cell phones, keys or anything else on their way out, said Randy Harrison and Linda Marcera. So they had to wait until someone noticed and summoned help.
Their 20-foot motor home, parked in their driveway and fully loaded with gasoline and propane for a trip planned for this weekend, exploded.
Obama becomes 1st US president to visit Hiroshima bomb site
