Bicyclist killed on Winding Road
FISHING CREEK TWP. — A 60-year-old woman died almost instantly Wednesday, officials say, when a pickup truck struck her bicycle from behind.
Caroline Shauger was riding her bicycle east on the 300 block of Winding Road near her home around 8 a.m. when the accident took place, throwing her over the guard rail and down an embankment, said Ron Taylor, deputy coroner.
