Two cut from car after Scott Township wreck
SCOTT TWP. — Two injured teens had to be cut from a car after slamming into a parked van on Bentley Drive here Saturday afternoon.
Responders covered the pair with sheets to shield them from a shower of glass shards as the windshield of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo was removed, then fire crews set to work tearing the mangled driver's side door free from the frame.
A blond girl crying and wincing in the passenger seat was lifted onto a backboard first, then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
