SLABTOWN – A fire that broke out after a man used a torpedo heater to thaw pipes under his house completely gutted the inside of his trailer home here Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said.
Josh Mummey, 26, said he was using the heater to thaw frozen pipes and went inside the house for a moment only to find the the side of the home on fire when he went back out.
