Posted: March 19, 2013 - 4:09pm

Another busy day of news to report. Here's a snapshot of what our reporters are working on: * Flames erupt in a home after a man fires up a furnace. He escapes, but the home is destroyed. See our breaking report for what we have so far. * A truck driver tells police he blacked out at the wheel on Route 11. See what happened next or look for Julye Wemple's full report in Wednesday's paper. * A man arrested for making meth in a local hotel pleads guilty to drug possession "with intent to deliver" and is sentenced. Court reporter Leon Bogdan will tell you what a judge meted out. * Property owners apparently don't have to let PPL cut down their trees. Susan Schwartz will fill you in on the rules regarding the utility's always-controversial tree-trimming efforts. * Emergency crews spent nine hours cleaning up a fuel spilled left behind by a wreck on Monday night's snowy roads. Reporter Mike Lester has more on the story. Look for these stories and more in Wednesday's edition of the Press Enterprise.
