Crews move earth at a site at Route 42 and Wedgetown Road  in Hemlock Township this month. Sheetz is planning to build a gas station there, according to chain spokesman Harry Hammel. The land is across Route 42 from the Wal-Mart plaza. “It’s certainly been the talk of the hill,” remarked township Manager Jeff Sutton. The township authorized the property’s owner, Finn Gard LLC of Berwick, to move earth after the company demonstrated its planned use met zoning requirements, according to Sutton.
