WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (AP) -- No one was seriously hurt when a tanker truck carrying 6,000 gallons of Scotch whisky overturned and caught fire in New Jersey.
Fire Chief Dan Gregan tells The Home News Tribune of East Brunswick (http://mycj.co/ZsPzpe ) the truck was making a turn when it clipped a telephone pole in Woodbridge, hit a parked car and ignited on Tuesday.
The chief wasn't sure whether the truck's fuel or the Scotch ignited.
The driver, who works for a hauling company in Newark, was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
