PITTSBURGH (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man serving time in molestation case is now facing 15 more months behind bars for a threatening letter to the president that authorities said was sent to the wrong address.

Thirty-four-year-old Joseph Savage of Uniontown pleaded guilty in March in federal court to threatening the president and threatening the president's family.

Prosecutors said he was awaiting trial in Fayette County Prison in October 2012 when he sent a threatening letter to 1400 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington. The White House is at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. but received the letter anyway.

Savage was sentenced Tuesday to 30 months, 15 months of that consecutive to his state sentence. He is serving 12½ to 25 years on convictions of terroristic threats, aggravated incent assault on a child and corruption of minors.
