ERIE --Bloomsburg University's women's basketball team came out and took the lead early in the second half, but were not able to hold off a late surge by IUP. The Huskies were eliminated from the NCAA Division II Tournament, losing 72-59. The Huskies had moved into the lead, 37-34, over IUP with 15:48 to go in the game. The Huskies were down 29-18 with 3:13 to go in the first half, but went on a late run in the first half to pull within four. Kayla Oxenrider led the Huskies with 17 points. Catherine Noack and Dana Wieller each added 10. Lauren Ellis grabbed five rebounds in the loss. BU finishes the season 24-6.
