SALEM TWP. — The first of the gas turbines for the new natural gas plant here are scheduled to arrive as an oversize load overnight between Thursday and Friday morning, the project spokesman said.

The delivery to the Caithness Moxie Freedom plant should be the last large delivery for the next two or three weeks, said Steve Kratz.
The pieces are being carried by train to the railroad spur at Riverview Block Co., then taken by road the last three miles to the new gas power plant site.

Talen, owner of the nearby nuclear plant and the railroad spur, gave permission for the new gas plant to use the transportation line.
The mover, Bigge Crane and Rigging, told Salem Township it plans to make the deliveries around 10 or 11 p.m.
Flagmen will help direct traffic around the slow-moving vehicles, Kratz said.
