BLOOMSBURG — Bloomsburg High School’s homecoming football game tomorrow night  is being moved to Bloomsburg University due to poor field conditions at Panther Stadium.

School district Superintendent Donald Wheeler announced the move Thursday afternoon, saying the field at Panther stadium is not game ready due to recent rain.

The wet conditions have also attracted a heavy population of mosquitoes, Wheeler added.

Homecoming festivities get underway Friday at BU’s Redman Stadium at 6:20 p.m. with a performance by the band, followed by  a 6:35 p.m. homecoming ceremony and a 7 p.m. kickoff between the Panthers and Warrior run.
